Just 18 days till Christmas and if be lying if I said I’m not excited! With all our snow and below freezing temps, it’s unbelievably easy to get into the spirit of the holidays.
The kids and I have been baking and candy making and after quite a bit of experimenting, we have even managed to do a proper Reeses Peanut Butter Cup-A-Like! So, if you’re looking for something a WHOLE lot closer than your average peanut butter and powdered sugar filling, here’s what we came up with.
Holy Cow These Are So Close, Its Scary Peanut Butter Cups
2/3 c finely crushed graham crackers
1 c creamy peanut butter
1/2 c powdered sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Knead to form dense paste, roll into balls and dip into 12 oz chocolate chips melted with 1 oz paraffin –
One little note, for our official, non-practice batch, we painted chocolate into those cute paper mini muffin liners, stuffed with the peanut butter mixture then covered it back over with more chocolate. They were awfully pretty, but shaping them into balls was much, much easier.

These sound yummy…I’d much rather be home baking today thats for sure. Ah well I guess these will have to wait until tonight. thanks for another amazing recipe!
No joke, I doubt I will EVER buy a Reese’s again, these are that good!
Copying this recipe, too! Gotta get that paraffin. I just melted some chips this weekend and through in a bunch of peanuts and dropped them on waxed paper. Now I need to lock them up so I can’t get to them! These sound pretty yummy.
